I loved his character in this book too, but I wish his character worked on the computer more because I felt his characters was holding back during this book. Charlie was in the third book in this series, but he mostly worked on the computer in that book. This book gets very hot and heavy during some of the steamy times. This book was heavy on the romance part of this book unlike the other books in this series. I think this book is more of a police mystery book with some very hot steamy adult times mixed into it. I found the suspense part was just ok in this book unlike the other books in this series. I have read and review the first three books in this book series before picking up this book. This is a Dark Romantic Suspense, and this is the fourth book in the Protection series. Due to foul language, discussion of emotional abuse, mention of suicide, and detailed intimate scenes, this book is recommended for readers 18+. Each book can be read as a standalone, but because of character crossover, reading from book 1, Mine to Protect, is suggested.
